HRH princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, patron of the Thai Library Association, graciously attended a professorial lecture on The Virtual Library and the Future of Scholarly Communications, by Prof. Robert D. Stueart, Professor of Information Management and Executive Director of the Center for Library and Information Ressources, Tuesday, July 10th.
The lecture was broadcasted to other countries on Internet through JCSAT3 satellite and AI3 project.
The video was broadcasted using codec H.261, while the audio was using format PCM. A Pentium 133MHz was used to acheive a frame rate of 6 frames per seconds, and about 200Kbits/second bandwidth was used.
